Yep, I will try to spend as much time at the beach.
I went today, and it was my first time in the ocean this year....it was so great.
I am only 10 minutes away from the ocean, so it isn't like like I have to travel.
It's about prioritizing, for me, and I enjoy being at the beach with my family.
I really hate when work interferes with life *L*.....although I am fortunate in this day to have a job *S*

YaY! So was talkin to my cousin and Vegas might be on the agenda for this summer for me. Either that or Wisconsin is on the agenda for her. She lives there and I live here....soooo we're not quite sure on who's taking the flight but we're definatly going to figure it out real soon. It'll be nice to see her....we haven't seen eachother in 13 years!
Man we may not end up going anywhere. The beach is only an hour away but gas prices here are already $4.15 a gallon and climbing. *growls* It would almost be cheaper to fly to Hawaii than drive to the beach anymore. [img]graemlins/whatever.gif[/img]
im a wee bit cranky cuz all the weekend reservations are taken at canal park hotels....
so maybe we will have to go in the middle of the week.....

I just got back from Maine and the ocean.....
this summer.... well, my boss sold his business and the new owner is still gettin the hang of things.. it's kinda cool when ya can tell your boss how things are usually done lol so i've told him i can work 8 shifts with less days off, minus a trip home for a wedding.. i get to go to the wedding, spend the next day recuperating and get off the bus the next morning right on time to go to work lol
a trip to the prairies to see grandma and another trip to the tattoo shop..
nothing too exciting.. we might head out to the island after the summer - summers are busy times for both of us with work so it's easier to try and take time off in the fall..
besides... i prefer the fall anyways

i will be working on my house... and let's see... working on my house?... and oh yeah!... i almost forgot... working on my house! *L* i took vacation around the 4th of July so i could..... work on my house... exciting exciting exciting! (well, it is to ME, lol, but i was being sarcastic...*G*)
maybe next summer i'll take a real vacation and go somewhere nice to visit.... [img]smile.gif[/img]
Well, my sister said something about taking Kian for a night because Hannah is bugging her about it so maybe Daniel and I can hit the beach for a night...LOL. My nieces love their new cousin and the youngest one keeps trying to take the baby apart...LOL. Not literally but she doesn't yet understand why she can't hold him yet. He's still really tiny and Hannah is well...still way rambuncious. [img]tongue.gif[/img]
